The Badge was created in 1965 when the three companies, The Girls' Brigade (Ireland), The Girls' Guildry, and The Girls' Life Brigade joined to form The Girls' Brigade. The badge is a symbol of union, and a world-wide symbol of Girls' Brigade companies, as well as symbolising faith and allegiance to Jesus Christ.
